I read this question that was shared with some brothers and sisters and it really stuck me. I am wondering what thoughts others might have on this?

Question of the day… Which is worse: those who can’t live it, and try? Or those who can Live it, and don’t?

That one is so easy as to be rhetorical...don't you think? ;-)

The one who tries despite all frustration is justified before God; the one who doesn't care to try is lost even if he can accomplish more by his natural abilities.

I am thinking of the parable of the two sons, one who said he would go into the field and work but didn't, and the other son who said he would not work but ended up doing it anyway...who did the work?

They are equal......Neither is capable on his own accord.

John 15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. thanks for all the different thoughts on this. Some really good thoughts shared to be thinking on. I was telling my husband that when I read this simple question, what struck me first was that I really have no excuse. I mean as one who knows the Lord, as one who has access to the Bible, I have no real excuse for not living for Him. I have no excuse for not dying to my flesh and living for Him daily!!! What is even more amazing is He even supplies me with all that I need in order to walk with Him daily.God is completely worthy of all our love, and devotion!!

Why because justification comes by faith alone..

We cannot find any justification by observing the law or by good works before the Lord.

I was thinking about this to. I know a very lovely family, they are very kind, helpful and generous people, but they follow the Book of Mormon and attend that false religion. All of the rules that they follow mean nothing because they have no true understanding or relationship with Jesus. They attempt to live the life by their own merit instead of placing their faith and trust in Jesus.

Which is worse? Both. Those who can live it, do live it. Good trees bring forth good fruit. They don't try to be something they're not and can't help but be what they are.

So goes for sin, also.

Sin is a a desire to do wrong, while knowing it is wrong & knowing there is consequences. This is truly what sin is; willful sin. Sin is always according to ones knowledge of good and bad.
Therefore, the guilt of sin is never accounted to anyone who "sins" unintentionally?

They who "try" are putting God to the test in there own minds, but the reality is that God is trying them.

All are able, but but some do not.
