Saints,

Do pray for me as I am in Kathmandu, Nepal for 8 days before I fly back to Canada. There is a possibility of visa issues getting back into India for my flight back to Canada! Pray that works out. Also saints please pray for my time here for protection and safety. It is a third world country and is not safe in areas.

I am holding a "revival conference" here with 2 other speakers and pray God works in a great way. I believe I am here for many reasons and I thank God for His providence to keep me and teach me all he wants to while I am here.

Hi,

thanks for the prayers. We switched to a different hotel to a different area of the city. No it will not be on ustream unfortunately. The power goes out 2-3 times a day at least for hours! so it would not be up much anyways!

Hi Greg,

You might meet brethren there, or in India, who know Norman Meeten. He had a lot to do with the setting up of a new hospital for lepers, somewhere in Nepal. You might hear about it through the grapevine. Please give them Christian greetings from England. Thanks.

I pray for your safety, and great wisdom in your associations.

Saints,

do keep me up in prayer and this conference. May God be glorified in this time here. I am going to be preaching tomorrow and the next few days and appreciate the prayers greatly. I am nothing without God neither is any man. We are all like "grass".

this country of nepal is "steeped" in idols. It is shocking. May God turn them by His grace to worship the true God.

Bro. Gordon,
Will the services be recorded at all considering the electric situation, and then posted here on SI?
Trust all goes well.

Saints,

yes the services will be God willing recorded using a mp3 digital recorder. I will try and get them up Jan 9th in Banglore where I can upload them.

Do keep praying for my protection spiritually this is a very dark place.

It is amazing to walk into shops with 1000's of idols and small idol worshiping booths all over! It is almost like walking in a city in AD 60 as the early church did!

Thank God for your courage! Preach the Word, be instant in season, out of season: reprove, rebuke with all longsuffering and doctrine. May the Word go forward! Hallelujah!

Brother Admin Greg,

Please share a testimony if you will of your time in Nepal.

Brother,

I would be happy to share in short a tesitmony of my experience and time there. To me being in Nepal was a radically different experience then canada, usa or europe. God was very gracious to protect and lead me to many key brothers. I came with the heart not to "do something" for God or to try and teach the church there. I had nothing to bring except the reality of Christ in my life. I asked the Lord how can I come to Nepal and just serve the kingdom of God here. And showed me there is already an indegenious local church there in Nepal that was vibrant and thriving under the Head of Jesus Christ. They were 1000's of indepdent churches scattered abroad in Nepal.

Sadly many denominations have come into Nepal and "bought out" pastors who had networks of 50-100 home felowships and they became "nazerene, baptist, assemblies of God, etc." Sadly this is one major problem in Nepal which is the "love of money" in ministry. It was amazing how God connected me with some of the key leaders of the Nepalese church there in Kathmandu.

God is working powerfully without our money, plans, organisations and man-made works. The Spirit of Christ is sufficient brothers and sisters!

I am praying about opportunity to go back to serve God's church there. We must realize that in the west we are not the center of Christianity anymore. We must learn to serve the East and realize they will be sending missionaries to us soon!
