Thank you for your sweet posts on such a dear man of God. One of the greatest books given to me by Ravenhill is called Samuel Morris by Lindley Baldwin. He gave it to me as a child and I am still reading it over and over again. I find it such an amazing testimony of how the Spirit of God can work it will blow your mind. If you are a fan of revival, this will sure start a fire in your heart.

I read the story about Samuel Morris in Edwin and Lillian Harvey's "They Knew Their God" series. The Harveys were friends of the Ravenhills too and published his last book, Heart Breathings.
BTW, I was on my way to Atlanta when I met with LR, to visit my friends at Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain, where I first heard the Gospel and believed at the age of 15.
But please tell us more! How did you know the Ravenhills?
They were friends of my parents and would stay with us when he spoke in Atlanta. I wish I could have some of those times back again. Great memories!
