my friend Joel is seeking the Lord for salvation tonight

My friend Joel is unsure if he really knows the Lord and he told me for the past couple of days it has been bothering him, he for the past few months also has been getting convicted of many sins, when asked me about it I told him either the Lord has saved you and you are growing in the Lord or the Lord is bringing you to repentance and true saving faith, i really don't know, but tonight he is seeking God for assurance and if not salvation. Please pray for him, not to many people call you and tell you they are sick of sinning and want to be saved and really know Jesus so please pray for the Lord to work in him.
