Listened to 'The Anointing of the Holy Spirit.'

This sermon is in the traditional vein and spirit of Ravenhill's life message: holiness, conviction, prayer, and reality with God. Similar in form to his 2 part message "A Pure Heart" but with it's own unique gems of wisdom that are worth mining out at least once.

A few:

-It might take all night at the altar to birth surrender in your heart to God (like Christ in Gethsemane).

-Hardest thing you can do is not preach, organize, counsel, or anything else. The hardest thing we can do is pray in the Holy Ghost.

-I would rather live for 6 weeks or 6 days in the anointing of the Holy Spirit than go on without it.

-Not saying it's impossible to sin, just saying it's possible not to sin.

Listened to the Indwelt Saint. Great sermon, similar to his 2 part Freedom from Bondage message. This is a good check to see if you are filled with the Spirit.

Never failing to shock with his frankness, Ravenhill drops this quote in the sermon:

(Speaking of homosexuals)"I'd as soon give Communion to a dog than give it to those people."

i went out grocery shopping, (Thank YOU Lord) and noticed it slipped out of the top, and figured if i missed it, maybe some other saints did too.
