Church of God

Could someone give me some background on the church of God.What are their views on the trinity??.

There are several denominations that go by that name, two major ones. COG Cleveland, TN is pentecostal, and has a spin-off group called COG of Prophecy, founded by Homer Tomlinson, who pronounced himself King of the World and performed coronation ceremonies in 100 cities. COG Indiana is a holiness denomination formerly known as Evening Light Saints. They are all trinitarian, far as I know.

Wayneman is correct. I have a background in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN. I attended one of their churches for 5 years, and graduated from their Biblec college, Lee University. COG of Prophecy also teaches that if you are in a second marriage, you should divorce your new spouse and get married again to your old one.

Isn't there a non-pentecostal Church of God from Anderson or something like that?

Not that I go to either one... I was just asking!!!!
