When we determine to know and preach Christ
and Him crucified, of the awful and terrible
sacrifice the Son of GOD made to redeem us
from the power of sin and death; we are going
to offend many. If we speak of a just GOD who
does not look upon evil or regard iniquity,
we may be despised and rejected for our stand
for the cause of the cross. There are many who
refuse to see that it was their guilt and shame
and sin that nailed our Saviour to the tree of
Calvary, but it was love, marvelous and wonderful
love; that held HIM there !! You must look past
the offense of the cross to see the glory, power,
and wisdom of GOD revealed in the resurrection!!
