Laura,
I have a coworker at the post office where I work. I had many dear talks about the Lord with him and he and his brother were actually almost killed in a car accident about 2 months ago.
Anyhow, I invited him on facebook, and now I am so sad and wish I didn't know what I know now. Is this the actual and true state of EVERYONE that professes Christianity? There are photos of him with scantily clad women, wine, and alchohol all around, and the usual appearance of a party crowd.
O people, if you can't live the life, don't profess to be a saint when you are infested with sin. When did it become acceptable to love the world and love the Lord.
I now am beginning to realize Laura that it really is a remnant. I am praying for this young man myself, I was backslidden for 15 years and know how it feels to be sucked in to the world. I just don't see any shame for sin. Where is the presence of the Holy Spirit to cause these people to at least feel conviction? Has our Christianity been so watered down that we can eat, drink, and be merry for God loves everybody?
Lord Jesus, we need to have our lives and liberty and this freedom of ours threatened.
May God deliver his people, even if by force.
