Question

I'm glad this question will not cause any sort of strife or argument; I simply want to have a simple set of instructions on how to "grab" a quote from someone's post. I often wanted to do this, and have been afraid that I'll create a mess.

Thankyou! Kathleen

Click the reply button which will allow for the reply window with the other persons post above it. Copy the part of their post that you want to quote then click the quote button. Paste that text in the quote box and you should be all set.

I don't think people will pick at you too much if you do sister. :)

Highlight the section you want to quote with your mouse, Hit "Control C" Hit the quote button on the screen, when the dialogue box pops up, make sure you have a cursor in the spot to type in. Then hit "Control V" Then hit, OK and vwalla, blammo quote officially quoted! Hopefully I explained that well enough :)

You can also use code to quote someone.
[ quote ] put your quote here! [ /quote ]

just take the spaces out of the "quote" between the brackets. Then you get

put your quote here!

Hope that made sense!

In Christ,
Veronica

Thanks everyone! I'm sure this will give me enough to work with!

I might have the boldness to attempt it now.

:) Kathleen
