Lord break me and bring me to the end of myself.
Lord please use us as intercessors for our dear brothers and sisters who are being persecuted throughout the world.
When one member suffers all the members are to suffer with the suffering member of Christ's Body. For we are not a family, per se, but we are the Body of Christ. Yes, a family of God, but more so His Body. I believe when we look at our relationship to one another as a body it is more intimate than a family. "The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you”; or again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you.” On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary; and those members of the body which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our less presentable members become much more presentable, whereas our more presentable members have no need of it. But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it" (1 Cor. 12: 21-26).
"While He (Jesus) was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him. Someone said to Him, "Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak to You.” But Jesus answered the one who was telling Him and said, "Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, "Behold My mother and My brothers! "For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother” (Mat. 12: 46-50).
