I would like to share with you the experience of a woman in our fellowship over the past week.
A woman (Rachel) in our fellowship works at a daycare. About a week ago a woman came to drop off her child, very upset. She had noticed a lump and had went to the doctor. They did a complete CAT scan and found that she had from grape to golfball sized growths in her female organs as well as other places in her body and that they were cancerous. She was given about two weeks to live and sent home. She was very worried about her child and obviously upset herself. Rachel said, "I will pray for you." The woman, assuming this to be the typical response said thank you. Rachel said, "No, I mean I will really pray for you."
The woman left and when Rachel put the children down for a nap later in the day she immediately began to pray. She said she totally lost track of time and finally realized she was praying so fervently that she was sweating and had been praying for two and one half hours without realizing it.
About a week passed and the woman came back into the daycare. She had just been to the doctor the day before, had another CAT scan, and no trace of the growths was found. Tests showed her to be completely cancer free.
Praise God for His healing power!!!
Travis
