I heard a sermon a few months ago and in it the preacher said that he believed false teachers were God's judgment for people being selfish and worldly. I can't for the life of me remember what sermon or even who preached it. Anyone know?
I know Paul Washer spoke about such once. I don't know the name of the sermon though. I have also preached about something similar myself once. I think that was paul washers sermon called the gift nobody wants.
