I was just going to post the same note. Context: Don't come to us (our fellowship) when you are sick of that doctrine or the hypocrites in this or that fellowship but "come to us when you are sick and tired of yourself."

Oh how that would solve some problems!

Not an exact quote but a good summary of the thought;

If the Christianity you have doesn't work in your home why would you want to give it to others?

I was listening to that message and unfortunately don't have time to listen to the others due to work but I will be listening to the session after its all said and done.

My computer started playing the live broadcast even though it is still set waiting for me to hit the play arrow. I guess the Lord would have it that I watch this session. :)

This is the first message in this conference I have been able to hear. The transmission was periodically disrupted but I was able to locate all the bible references and follow his preaching points. I hope this will be found later on this site or some site.

In particular, there is much in this message on the Authority of believers in Christ over Satin - the truth of it. Greg, this is useful in our prayer for meetings in Victoria as we know this Truth (both those that come to hear and those that come to speak).

This is also the first message that I was able to listen to. I tried several times to listen to the first message, but I kept getting interrupted and only made it part way through.

Most people think that to be filled with the Holy Spirit you MUST speak in tongues. Jesus is our Forerunner, and He never spoke in tongues.

But it says about Him that when He was filled with the Holy Spirit He went about doing good (Acts 10:38). That's something in which we all can follow Him!

It's quite different to be convinced about the life of Christ and to [i]experience[/i] it.

If you've actually tasted that an orange is sweet, no amount of someone else's trying to convince you that it is not sweet will change your mind.

"O [i]taste[/i] and see that the Lord is good."

Love is the perpetual debt we owe to every human being (Romans 13:8).

"My goal is not to speak to 10,000 it is to speak to 1. Are you willing to sustain just 1? To sustain a weary 1 with a word... "

"...and in order to get that word for that weary 1, God wakens me morning by morning to listen as a disciple. Like Samuel, speak Lord for your servant listens."
