Saints,

Rolfe Barnard shares from a deep prophetic burden of the lack of the true conception of what Church is. He also laments the lacking presence of Christ in the midst of assemblies in America. Truly there is a deep need for revival in our day.

Thank you for sharing, listening to this really has opened my eyes to something that I have been longing for and that is intimacy with God, I am obedient yet I feel my obedience is done with the wrong motives or grumbling. I also was shown the lack of God's presence there seems to be because being in God's presence will humble a man to his knees in repentance. I believe I experienced only a very small glimspe of what its like being in the presence of the Holy God when my heart was exposed. As a youth pastor and hopefully someday pastor of some kind if I am really pressing in to intimacy with God with an obedient and joyful heart and spend more time in His presence then I would have to be a humble individual finally makes since why Paul thought nothing of himself. Oh Lord make me like Jesus through the Holy Spirit and not my temporary human effort. Amplify my longings for you. Amen.

Thanks again
God Bless,
Matthew

"Oh; beloved, let us write that down--
the presence of Jesus lost is the cause
of all our misery and wretchedness and
failure."

Truly the "church" is carrying on without the presence of God. We do lots of work, but accomplish little. It is time we go back to this foundational principle. Without Him we can do nothing. With Him we can turn the world upside-down.
