This is one of my favorite verses and I'm reading different versions and I feel like this is a pretty big deal here.
Luke 17:21
KJV says THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU but all the other translations says in your midst or around you.
Isn't this pretty important? Can it mean the same thing.
It's both.
When Jesus is honored in our midst, it grows within us.
Jesus wants us to recognize that this kingdom is born within and we then live it out in our daily activities.
As well, if we take part in this kingdom, we gradually begin to see God working in the lives of those around us, and it encourages us to become more faithful in Him.
One without the other has little or nothing to do with God relating and communing with us in a personal way.
Experiencing God's kingdom in our own lives starts when one begins to chase after knowing God:
1. The onset of this happens by learning to continually think as he does. In recognizing He has all the answers and we don't, we are walking in what the Bible calls repentance. It never ends.
2. In this process of continually keeping God's thoughts about Himself and His creation-(His nature, authority, and way of doing things in His earth)- at the forefront of what we think, imagine, and feel about everything, He shows us how to walk as He desires of us. This is what the Bible calls conversion. It never ends.

When this will never work as above stated, is when we get the cart before the horse.
For example:
If one reads the Bible and decides what they think they should do without a relationship with He who is both the bringer and the manifestation of the Father's annointed King of this kingdom, You will never experience God's kingdom within working out into your midst, though you may catch just a hint of it revealed by outward manifestations in other's lives.
If you don't communicate with the Author and Authority over this kingdom, your best guess will only fail.

Acts 20:32
This kingdom truly is in us because that which is perfect has come in the spirit of the Believer, The Spirit of Christ reborn in the believer. Christ new birth in us and the old father Satan out of us. We now have a personal Father who is the Creator of all that is.
Christ in you is the only kingdom we have in us. Christ is the only perfect one and He is in us now. Is He come?
1 Corinthians 13:10-13 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Colossians 1:26-28 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Is Christ made manifest now, "revealed", this is the perfection 1 Cor is speaking about, that which is come, He, Christ Himself in the believer, this is our hope of Glory.
In always knowing Christ is in us, we have every thought captive to the mind of Christ that is given us, and we pray or communicate with Him always. He should be at the forefront of every thought. The life I now live I live by the Faith of the Son of God; Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
