Jesus is Completely Able to Captivate

I love this thought that I read from a devotional-

“Jesus is COMPLETELY worthy and COMPLETELY able to captivate our hearts, if we’ll give Him a MOMENT. It’s not so much my ability to concentrate and fix my gaze on Him, as it is for me to get my own nose out of my own mirror long enough to catch a glimpse of His reflection, and it’ll keep me going when darkness DOESN’T veil His Lovely face, then… hold on to your horses!!”

Getting my own nose out of the mirror of my own reflection and catching a glimpse of HIM! I really like that, how much time is wasted when I focus on self...to see JESUS now that makes my heart beat and gives me life:)

When the Lord comes to renew our focus, it's always a very pleasant surprise. He is not only able, He is actively working regardless of our perception. All praise to the Lord of Glory for His faithful love.
