On a Lighter Note :)

By show of hands, I am curious as to how many people come to these forums and sermonindex because they believe that God has a plan for it and that the Lord wants to use Greg Gordon as well as all the other brothers and sisters involved, as well as the revival conferences in a way to actually really bring revival?

You can raise your hand like this O/

I will say why I am asking the question later if enough do so.

I don't want to say if it it were not for this site, I would not be in Japan, however, God used this site in order to get me here. I believe the Lord directed me to sermonindex, and in turn I was directed to Japan. It has been a blessing for me personally.

I've enjoyed having access to such a site. I can listen to just about any preacher/teacher and get encouragment and insight. All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.

I do believe that God has a plan for sermonindex, the revival conferences and Greg Gordon, and I believe both have already been used to bring about personal revival if not corporate. However, I must honestly say that I usually don't visit the forums with that conscious motive in mind (although I usually return after long breaks for that reason). Usually its to learn something etc. So if that counts: O/

I would also like to ask for those who have not considered it, but upon considering it because I asked the question, have decided that they want that to be a motive to also raise your hand. God knows your hearts :)

Sorry man, it's kind of late night here, and my skull is a bit thick. Would you mind reiterating your sentiment, or breaking it down a tiny bit? I THINK I understand what you're saying, but I'm not 100% sure if I grasp your full meaning. But now that I'm thinking about it, maybe if I just wait until tomorrow morning I'll understand it.

I do. God has used this site tremendously in my life. When my own life was revived, this is one of the first places I came.

As to whether God will bring revival through this site, I can't say that. I only say that because I don't know the mind of God there. Though, do I think that God will ignore the labors of a willing servant? Absolutely not! What good a man does is something that God gives to him to do. And God has given a lot of good here :)

What good happens here, I consider an act of God. It has simply been carried out by human vessels. And so, I would say that God is here. And so, if God brings revival through this ministry, I wouldn't be surprised.

Sorry I was not more clear, what I meant was...if your motive is not lined up with the way I framed my original question, but if you would like it to be then it is ok to raise your hand. I re-read that sentence and wondered if someone hit me over the head before I wrote it. Sorry.

Thank you Grant.

There have got to be more people than this.

Bump.

Count me in. There are no other sites more favorite to me than SI. [ to the chagrin of some; I'm sure...] [ lol ]

You have freedom here to address some real issues that are meaty. I've been to others, but the mix of overcontrol, or the simple rancor exposed upon simple disagreement have driven me away. There are real hearts after truth here, and that turns me on, without all the craziness that sometimes follows.....and as I see it, Greg and the moderators do a really fine job of maintaining the liberty and depth , with a biblical civility that keeps it free from the bitter.

A great blessing to the body of Christ and the world at large.

Blessings to Greg and the moderators for their labor and gracious spirit.

This is the first time this thread was read.

Areadymind?

On all things mentioned: yes, and then more.
When the web is used, this is nearly always the first and last stop; being the homepage here.

Haha, not at all, I'm just a bit slow. Totally got your meaning this time around. Thanks.

I agree too! When I open my browser, I have two tabs that open: one to my email and the next to sermonindex!! Many times I don't even log in but I like to see what is going on!

God bless everyone, if we never meet at a revival conference, we'll meet on the otherside of the river!!
