Thanks Nellie. It's so, well not weird because God always does this stuff, but my dad was raving about this verse all day yesterday trying to get fresh revelation and perspective on it.
Nellie, the other day I read another thread here about Britain being bankrupt. During this same time I had listened to Jeremiah chapter 42 on audio.
That passage, if I understand your intention of sharing this verse here, seems to coincide very much.
The message there of God to the people, if I understand it rightly, was that if they desired to repent from the coming destruction, God told them to trust Him in the midst of the Judgment, and not to flee away from it, into Egypt.
