urgent prayer request

Greetings everyone,

Would those of you who read this please take a moment to pray for a young man named Shawn? He is the boyfriend/nearly fiance of a good friend of mine. He was involved in a serious traffic accident this afternoon. Information about his condition has been coming in bits and pieces, but what I know now is that he was transported via life-flight to a local hospital and is currently undergoing surgery for bleeding on his brain. He (and my friend) are Christians.

On behalf of Shawn and Jessica, thank you all so much.

The doctors are throwing around such words as "serious brain damage" and now they're just waiting to see how he does over the next few days--waiting on swelling on his brain to go down.

Thanks again for your continued prayers.

Shawn is doing better but still has not regained consciousness even though he's no longer in a medically-induced coma. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

A testimony through this: Shawn's parents are not Christians, and through the outreach of Shawn's church and his Christian friends, his mother is becoming more and more receptive to the Gospel. "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples..." :)
