"Then Jesus said unto them, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12.
Jesus said, "And this is the condemnation, that LIGHT is come into this world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds be reproved. But he that comes to the Truth comes to light, that his deeds may be manifest, THAT THEY ARE WROUGHT IN GOD." John 3:19-21.
Jesus said, "YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THIS WORLD. A city set on a hill cannot be hid." Matt 5:14.
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from THE FATHER OF LIGHTS with Whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." Ja 1:17.
"THEN GOD SAID LET THERE BE LIGHT; and there was light." Gen 1:3.
"And God saw that the light was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness, He called night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." Gen 1:4,5.
"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and seasons, and days and years. "I FORM THE LIGHT, and create darkness, I make peace and create evil: I, the Lord do all these things." Isa 45:7.
"Thus saith the Lord which gives sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is His name." Jer 31:35.
"IN THE DAYTIME HE LED THEM WITH A CLOUD, AND ALL THE NIGHT WITH A LIGHT OF FIRE." Ps.78:14.
"WHO COVERS THYSELF WITH LIGHT AS A GARMENT: WHO STRETCHES OUT THE HEAVENS LIKE A CURTAIN." Ps 104:2.
And as he journeyed he came near to Damascus: and suddenly there shined a round about him a light from heaven. And he (Saul)fell to the earth, and heard a Voice say unto him, Why do you persecute thou Me?" Acts 9:3,4.
Jesus said,"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thy eye be single thy whole body will be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness, how great is that darkness!" Matt 6:22,23.
"AND HE WAS TRANSFIGURED BEFORE THEM; AND HIS FACE DID SHINE AS THE SUN, AND HIS RAIMENT WAS WHITE AS THE LIGHT. Matt 17:2.
"Who only hath immorality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; Whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to Whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen." 1 Tim 6:16.
"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Ps 119:105.
"The entrance of Thy Word gives light; it gives understanding to the simple." Ps 119:130.
