The War On Christians Beginshttp://traditionalvalues.org/modules.php?sid=1621Religious Pesecutionhttp://traditionalvalues.org/topic.php?topic=37Summary: Once homosexual marriage is legalized in the United States, we can expect an all-out war against Christians from homosexual activist groups. It's already started in Canada.Homosexual activists in Canada and in the United States appear eager to begin an all-out war against Christians, religious freedom, and freedom of speech. The campaign to destroy religious freedom has already started in Canada with the passage of C-250, a bill that adds "sexual orientation" to Canada's hate crime laws. The legislation was pushed by anti-Christian legislator Svend Robinson. This activist has recently been picked up by police for shoplifting a $50,000 piece of jewelry to give to his sex partner. The day C-250 was passed, homosexual activist Mark Hanlon with the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgendered group at Memorial University in Newfoundland, sent the following email to pro-family groups:"These right winged, conservatives are teaching these same messages to their children for the good of society and for the good of morals and ethics. Let's get this one thing straight to all you Conservative groups-your children's attitudes, if they inherit these beliefs from you, will be in a minority down the road. You are setting them on a dangerous path of intolerance and hate. Stop this path-before the world of tomorrow judges them, and thanks to this bill, prisons or fines them. Crimes of hate against the LBGT community will be treated equally with anti-Semitism, and anti-African Canadian hate crimes."In the United States, we can expect the same kind of persecution to come against Christians and their children for being willing to stand up against the homosexual agenda. The event that will launch this coming campaign against Christians is the legalization of homosexual marriage.Persecution From Homosexuals Is Nothing New To Rev. Louis P. Sheldon. In the twenty years since the Traditional Values Coalition was established, Rev. Sheldon has experienced 27 separate incidents of verbal or physical violence against him. Here are just a few examples of the anti-Christian bigotry he has experienced from homosexual activists: * He has been physically assaulted on three occasions on airplanes as he has traveled to and from Washington, DC. On one flight, he was physically abused and had to be moved to a safer location on the plane. When the flight landed, he had to be secretly escorted off the plane by a dozen police officers. * His home was spray painted with vulgar slurs. * Homosexuals invaded his office in Anaheim and dumped bags of manure on the floor. * Because of numerous death threats, police had to patrol his home for weeks. * Homosexuals invaded his office in Sacramento and he and his staff had to be removed by the police down the fire escape to avoid being assaulted. * At Hamilton Square Baptist Church in San Francisco, Rev. Sheldon was scheduled to preach on September 19, 1993. When homosexuals learned he was preaching, they stormed the church and used benches and boards to try to crash through the doors to assault churchgoers. Outside, homosexuals ripped Bibles from attendees and blocked entrance into the church. The police were called to protect Rev. Sheldon and the churchgoers, but not one person was ever arrested! This is the future for every Christian if we fail to confront and stop the homosexual movement from gaining more political power in our nation. Homo-fascism is a reality in Canada and here in the United States. Time is growing short. We are urging church leaders to wake up to the serious threat that homosexual activism poses to religious freedom and speech. If we fail to act quickly, we will suffer the fate predicted by Canadian homosexual Mark Hanlon: Prison and fines for speaking out against the sin of sodomy. As Poor Misguided Hezekiah said unto the Babylonians, "Come On In"! ...https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=3374&forum=35&2
