I have a suggestion for you. If you have so many tapes that are so good but do not want to throw them away...

Take them to a truck stop, put them in a box with a 'free' sign on it, urging people to help themselves.

Our church supports a one man mission, Raymond Brunk from Dayton, VA., who collects tapes, used and new and records sermons on them. He has several truckers who will distribute them to truck stops across the country for truckers to pick up and listen to them while driving. This man's mission has inspired a lot of others to do the same. When we talked to him several years ago, he said how tapes are becoming obsolete and more are going to CDs. Since he is getting to be too old, he is in no mood to invest money to make this change-over.... don't know what he says about it now.

I would also suggest maybe going to your local Jail or if there is a prison near by donate them to them. It would be a great blesses to those guys and may very well lead some of them to the Lord. This is what I plain on doing when I slim down my library.

Good idea Ginny, but there is not a truck stop within 100 miles of where we live. The jail is a possibility. I will have to see if they have tape players and any interest. If not, I will try to find another outlet. Meanwhile, if anyone has an actual home for these tapes, let me know.

Have these already been digitized?

If this is the sermon done by Dr. Norman Geisler at Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, FL, I would be very much interested in getting a copy of it. It seems they (Calvary Chapel) may have pulled the plug on it when I watched half of the video online, only to run out of time (busy that day and had other matters to take care of) and come back to it a few days later, finding out that the file which my bookmarked link pointed to was no longer existent.

Please get back to me with regard to the availability of this cassette.
