Open-Air Preaching in Central Park (New York City)

Brethren,

Please be in prayer for me. I am considering going to New York City next Spring to do a couple days of open-air evangelism in New York City. Pray for me in regard to discernment for this. Presently I live in Charlotte, NC. I have no contacts in NYC. To save on costs, I'll probably look to stay in a hostel, unless there are some brethren here who live in the city that would be willing to give me a place to sleep.

What makes you feel led to go to NYC in particular?

Thank you. It was just a thought that crossed my mind today. I guess having done street ministry I've always had a dream about going there. But before, I've never had the impulse.

Also, if anybody would be willing to consider forming a small team of people to meet with me and evangelize, let me know

And I would be especially interested if any of you who go to a church in NYC, especially that of Time Square Church or Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

I have never preached but I have been on the streets and campuses sharing Jesus with people. It is so awesome to see the responses to Jesus. I will pray for you brother.

We would spend many hours in prayer, in the word, worshiping and in His Presence being still before Him before going out. The Holy Spirit always directed us to the people He wanted us to share with.

I pray the Lord will prepare the hearts of the people He will bring to hear your message. And the Lord would bring the people he wants to go with you, praying as you preach, praying even now that the Holy Spirit would go before you.

That souls be won, lives changed and the army of God would increase. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you. Matt six. All glory to God!
