So I started to ponder today the simplicity of the Gospel, I enjoy reading authors that expound on the simple things of Christ and His teachings. I am so very glad that it isn't a complex hard to understand Gospel or I may be have never come to Christ in pure simplicity.
As I search the scriptures my heart is terribly grieved at how far we have strayed from this simplicity instead of meeting with brothers and sisters of the same Lord to fellowship and commune it is now a program and system of planned organization, I agree the New Testament church was organized in the sense that it wasn't choas but it never lost the inimate fellowship of Saints.
I am a simply guy and am searching for a simple and real relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I love stories of old but sometimes reading them breaks my heart that I simply don't see and feel and do what those brothers and sister moved in.
