new job

The very week that the last unemployment check came, after being out of work for a year. The Lord blessed with a new job. Surrounded by many people and being able to share Jesus has been constant. While out of work it was a most blessed time. It allowed time to grow closer to the Lord. Many ministry opportunities opened up.

So you see that while out of work it was like heaven on earth, and while back to work the same. The key to it all is staying centered on Jesus. When worry or care knocks on the door of your mind, keep it on Jesus for he is the God of peace.

hi, i am very happy that you have found work...do not witness on the clock or while you are to be productive for your employer for this is stealing ...only witness at lunch or before or after work but mostly show your witness by doing outstanding work that would separate your work to a higher plain.jimp

thanks for showing that work ethics. It opens a opportunity to share some extra thoughts. The Lord gave a special wisdom in sharing with a supervisor. He is starving for the word. While talking to him about the Lord , just jumped right in and help him stack some boxes of supplies. It was neat to be serving him as well as blessing him.

The job that is a blessing is one which actually encourages us to talk and even have fun while working. That doesn't always apply to most jobs, but the Lord knows how to put those in positions which meet their calling and needs.

Yesterday another supervisor walked by and Met with him personally to tell him I thought he might have been disturbed to see me standing doing nothing. Told him a employee placed me there for a moment to secure the area for safety. He said when he saw me he didn't even notice.

The point is sometimes it is good to make sure even if all is well. That can result in revealing to them that you care about the boss personally. By the way he still thanked me.

In this day and time people don't have respect for their bosses. They are shocked by kindness.

While sharing with some people over lunch, it truly makes for a wonderful lunch time.

There was one minister that I knew who was preparing for the ministry and he had such favor, he was told if you get the things done that are required, you are most welcome to sit down and study the word in the extra time. He of coarse was a good dependable worker.

Hope that out of all this everyone will see that God can do tremendous things for those who put Jesus first. Not all situations are the same, but God has blessings taylor made for you. trust him by faith and see marvelous things.

Wonderful! I had a similar experience back in 2001, was out of work for a year. The Lord gave me a great hunger for the word and I spent much time studying and memorizing during that year. Also, being Mr. Mom for a while meant that I was also able to spend a lot of time with my children. What a blessing!

I can look back today at that time and see what a great period of preparation it was.

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
(Psalm 37:4-5)

In Christ,

Ron

I want to thank you for that testimony--in the light-- you reveal by it that God can do same for anyone who is in need from the Lord.

It is also a blessing that if we are in a circumstance that we still have the victory.

How wonderful tyhe story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. He didn't see his tomorrows but knew they were in God's hands. The dreams he had were just as encouraging to him that God was with him .

Just being in the word of God is what held everything together for me. Oh the awesome times of prayer.
It gave many more times to go out and minister to the elderly. Also more time to go to many Christian forums and share Jesus. God bless.
