i heard this scripture ....Luke.6[45] A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.... on a Christian program last night and it just really, really hit me ... "What comes out of my mouth certainly does define me" ... Your utterances define you as well ... It made me reflect on what i tend to talk about, where my passion lies, and why? ... It made me further search for these words of Jesus ...Matt.15[10] And He called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:[11] Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.[16] And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?[17] Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?[18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.[19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:[20] These are the things which defile a man:Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of this scripture, in light of these polarizing, and trying times in which we're now living ...Phil.4[4] Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.[5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.[6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.[7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.[8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.[9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you ... i thank God for the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the gentle Dove of peace and love, whom i can always rely on to re-center me in Christ the Rock of our salvation ... His constant renewing of the spirit of our minds, via our study of the Word of God, is the only way of making 100% sure that the abundance in our heart is perpetually Him, assuring from our mouths rivers of living water to a lost, arid and sin sick world ... Lord Jesus touch the lips of your remnant everywhere, with living coals from Your altar ... And please Lord if it be Your will do it now ... Right now ... Amen
