Israel-Hezbollah War: Additional Commentary

First, God bless you Ryan for figuring out the mess that is the Middle East. God bless you for starting this blog and allowing me to occasionally stick a few comments up here. In this instance, you totally underestimate the Hell that will rain down on Israel not only from Hezbollah but from Syria and Iran.

"The Syrian-Iranian backed Hizbullah poses a very serious threat to Israel…Hizbullah today now has four times as many rockets as it had during the 2006 Lebanon war. These rockets are longer-range. Every city in Israel is within range right now, including Eilat," he said.

That is what ambassador Oren said. What he did not mention, that we have, are the preparations for war that Syria, Hezbollah and Iran are taking at this very moment. You do not go to all the expense of setting up joint and combined commands unless you are preparing to use them in the short term.

In the recent past, Syria and Hezbollah have set up joint commands. That means a lot of fiber optic line has been laid, a lot of copper wire has been laid, a lot of concrete has been poured over a lot of steel and a lot of munitions have been built and moved into ready positions. We should all take note of the explosion earlier today of the Hezbollah weapon’s storage area under a three story building in Lebanon south of the Litani River. This is in direct contravention to Security Council Resolution 1701.

Why should we care if the UN doesn't!

The simple fact is that the controlling forces in Iran want a war. They believe it is their manifest destiny to rule the World. They believe that the return of the Hidden Imam from the Occultation requires major chaos. What better major chaos than a Middle East wide war? Why has not the Hidden Imam chosen to reappear before?

Because none of the previous major wars involved the particular portions of the Middle East that this one will. Rommel only got as far east as El Alamein. All of the other Middle East conflicts have gone against the muslims. None of them had the possibility to be fought in the Tigris-Euphrates Valley and involve the shiite holy sites at Karbala and an-Najaf. This bloodletting will be as much or more a sunni-shiite conflict as a war to destroy Israel.

This will be a war on at least two fronts. The Western Front will comprise the area directly contiguous to Israel. The Eastern Front will be the Persian Gulf and the Shatt al-Arab. Whether or not this will spill over into Afghanistan is total conjecture. But the prizes for the shiites are an-Najaf and the Imam Ali mosque, Karbala and the Imam Hussein mosque, Medina and Mecca. You only haver to read "Shorty's" diatribes at the UN to understand that these are shiite sermons containing an invitation to islam. Having extended the invitation to islam, the Iranians are now religiously free to initiate jihad against all of those who have rejected the call.

How soon? That is the big question. as I said in an earlier post, Ramadan ends on the tenth of September.

Saturday, April 9, Hamas and its allies, acting now on Hizballah guidelines from Lebanon, fired 24 heavy Grad missiles and more than 50 mortars rounds at seven southern Israeli towns. At least 20 Israelis were injured or suffered shock. After the IDF killed 17 Hamas and other commanders, Hamas asked for a ceasefire through the UN and its political echelons. Israel replied the request would only be addressed if it came from Hamas military leaders who show no interest in holding their fire.

South under heavy assault; IDF hits back

Major escalation overnight, southern Israel under heavy fire: The Iron Dome anti-rocket system intercepted several Grad rockets fired at Beersheba, southern Israel’s largest city, and at the town of Ofakim early Saturday.
At around 3:45 am, the anti-rocket siren was activated throughout southern Israel, including in the cities of Ashdod, Beersheba, Ashkelon, Kiryat Gat, Kiryat Malachi, Gedera, Ofakim and Gan Yavne. Shortly thereafter, several Grad rockets exploded in open areas north of Ashdod and Nitsanim.

It seems to me that the rallying cry in some of these Muslims countries in the Middle East will be Jihad against Israel, in order to unite their peoples, and stop the riots against their governments ...if only to save there own regimes.

God bless the Jews in their ancestral homeland, ...may they look upon Him whom they have pierced and trust Him.

...I believe that the war has started in the Middle East. It began this week with the Israeli’s using their Iron Dome Defense, against rockets that were fired from Gaza, by Hamas. Let’s put this in perspective. Pretend you live in a border state in the USA, say New Mexico, and day after day those pesky Mexicans fired rockets across the border at you. What would you do? Turn the other cheek and do nothing? Yet, when Israel decides to defend itself, most of the world points a condemning finger at the Jewish state.

You may remember a few years ago when a land for peace deal was reached with the Palestinians. The Israeli’s gave up the Gaza strip for what they hoped for was peace, instead within hours the mortars and rockets began to reign down on them from across the border. Israel is now surrounded almost on all sides by enemies that want only one thing and that is her destruction, make no mistake about this. You may remember only weeks ago when 1.5. million Egyptians met in Tarrir square and chanted together: To Jerusalem we go, martyrs in the millions.

We are seeing the first skirmishes that I believe will lead to an all out war. As I have stated in the past, Kings go to war in the spring and we are now in that season. I thought that it would erupt last year, but thankfully it didn’t, however with the toppling of Egypt’s president, Hosni Mubarak, as well as the instability in other regimes in the area, it now would appear that we may see an all out war between Israel and a combined group of enemies. Is this the Psalm 83 war...

It is true. I went to hear someone from the Jewish nations speak on what is being done to make the Israelites look bad and this is one of them. To provoke them and make them look like the aggressors.

Then we went to hear a Palestinian speak at the local College here. It is being done all over.

The Jewish speaker told us exactly what the Palestinian would say and he did. It was such propaganda making Israel look really bad and the Palestinians look like angels doing nothing wrong. Showing a slide show. The sad part was there were the students. They had to come and listen and and do a paper on it. I had never heard such propaganda as this. It was sickening.

Then there were questions and answer time. We could see they took the questions, on paper, and selected the ones they wanted to have asked. They didnt use the ones from the Jewish people who were there of course.

The Palestinian people put their children in front of the tv at age 2 & up with cartoons saying to hate, kill and destroy Israel. They tell them they are not a Country.

The Palestine people are trying to get Israel not to be a nation at all and they are trying to get to us in the Colleges to go their way.

We prayed for the students hearing and for the man speaking that they would all come to know the truth and the truth would set them free. And for the poor children who are learning such hate.

God help us all. I wont get involved except with prayer is what the Lord told me to do personally. But it was very enlightening to see what is really going on.

The sister I went with said, but we, Christians, know the end. All glory to God!

It is the front line of Israel’s deepening conflict with Iran, and beneath the snow-capped peaks of Mount Hermon the final preparations are taking shape for a conflict that promises to change the landscape of the modern Middle East.

On one side, amid the foothills of southern Lebanon, is Hizbollah, the Iranian-backed Shia militia that is busily stockpiling thousands of missiles in readiness for the next round of hostilities against its sworn enemy, Israel.
On the other side stand the men and women of Israel’s armed forces, the defenders of the Jewish state who are working on their own plans to defeat the Tehran-controlled militia that is committed to Israel’s destruction.

Report: Syrian Armored Forces Move Nearer to Israel

The Syrian Army moved forces stationed in the Golan Heights and they are now closer to Israel, according to Free Syria Army.

According to reports from the Free Syria Army, the Syrian military has moved forces stationed in the southern part of the Syrian Golan Heights closer to Israel.

The Syrian military did not come close to the border with Israel. However, armored forces that were stationed along the Syria-Jordan border, which were recently reinforced, were moved and are now closer to Israel, according to the report.

Isaiah 17 which may very well be apart of WW3. WW3 comes which is not the great tribulation, but some will think it is. I am pre-wrath in my view.

If war breaks out in the Middle East involving Iran/Syria...BEWARE...because it through this that comes a very great war (WW3) as every nation that has a stake in "Middle East Oil" will be there defending their own "Critical National Interests" - Russia/China/SCO who sides with Iran/Syria et-al vs. NATO and allied nations against them.

With a world wide shortage of crude oil because of the global war that follows (resource war), there is little or no fuel left for transport trucks, cars, jets, ocean liners, or any kind of transport...which means little or no food will be delivered to grocery stores or any other goods and services for that matter.

...combine this with epic drought and crop failures and you begin to see what is on the horizon.

Concerning what is coming, I like what David Wilkerson has to say:

There is simply no possible, failsafe way to prepare for what's coming.
Of course, God will prepare His people concerning what to do, how to act wisely, and how to lay aside what is needed. But that should never be the focus of Christ's Bride.

I assure you, if you're making spiritual preparations - getting your heart in order, dealing with sin, calling on the Lord with greater intensity, trusting in His word, building up your faith - then your readying yourself for anything.

You'll be able to face a depression, losses and privations, calamities all around. You'll be ready for all troubled waters, floods, fiery furnaces, persecutions, crop failures, droughts, shortages, sicknesses. But most of all, you'll be ready to hear the trumpet of God in the last hour. You'll be prepared to march into the wedding feast to be untied with Christ.

God has made a covenant to keep and protect those who stay passionately in love with Him. I believe the covenant that God has made with us holds the secret to perfect peace, no matter what storm may come.

There is one more point I want to make concerning the days that are approaching us...

If it is true, that we are at the doorstep to the times of Jacob's trouble, that the Great Tribulation will soon be upon us, then we must sound the alarm to the others to get ready...because the enemy is at the gate, and the trumpet is about to sound!

I feel the Lord gathering up His elect in this hour as a Shepherd divides the sheep from the goats, and the day of His coming is fast approaching.
