Prayer for my friend

Hello Saints,

I'm asking for my prayer for my friend Erik. He has a very serious health condition and is angry at God. He had given me permission to write him a letter. I did that and just had it sent out. It should be there on Wednesday. Please pray the Lord would move and make His word known in power to bring this man to salvation in Christ. Please also pray for his family- that the Lord would really show Himself to all in his household.

Thank you all- this really is a desperate situation, but also a great chance for the Lord to be glorified!

Thank you for your concern. No, Erik and has family, except for one of his brothers, do not profess to know Christ. I'm praying for the Holy Spirit's work in Erik to bring him to true repentance and salvation in Christ, as well as in his family. That is no doubt the greatest need. His brother has the same physical condition and it's important he be a true witness for Christ to Erik and his whole family. I also sent him an article that I trust will help him. If God will be glorified by healing him and/or Erik, that such might happen. Regardless, that God might show Himself and goodness might be known in this household and all would come to repentance and follow Christ regardless. I asked for Erik especially because I sense an urgency in his case.
