To be honest, I've tried to understand this and am slightly confused. This is my understanding.

Printing money or to give it its technical name 'quantitative easing' is a tool used by central banks to stimulate lending by other banks and financial institutions. The central bank buys govt bonds off these financial institutions using new money created out of thin air. This new cash received by the banks is used to bolster a banks loan to capital ratios enabling them to lend a larger proportion of the cash they hold. In theory, at some point in the future the Central Bank will sell the government bonds it bought originally and destroy the cash received. In the long term therefore no new money is created.

Is this how it works? What are the risks?

If I may say that posting all those links is not wisdom b/c there are some on here who haven't grown in the faith and providing all the info on those links will cause them to fear instead of trusting in the Lord. I don't want to cause anyone to fear. Just saying...

I agree with you, Sister, my friend work in Hong Kong and got the news from English news paper in H.K. many months ago,(might be one year ago)

in other way, I think we need to know what time we are in, are we right with God, are we in Christ now, are we well prepared as the worst time comes. American Christians should we be alert and pray hard in such time as this ?

This is a sign of the end times?, because they are printing money?

When they first started printing paper money to distribute instead of carrying around gold and silver way back in the day was that a sign of the end times as well?

There is no need to attach the "end times" to this thread seeing that this was already done in history, flooding the economy with paper money that has no backing. The Chinese have already warned the United States not to devalue the dollar as their Trillion dollar bond investment would be useless. But they will not listen to the Chinese and Wilkerson's prophecy will have come to pass.

The only thing about the end times in our day is the end of the United States being a world super power.
