Put Your Faith To Work

What can faith do? Everything you see originated from

faith (Hebrews 11:3). And faith is the substance of

things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). So I can take faith

and see what God has spoken in his word in this

physical world. How? By releaseing the substance of

it out of your mouth. Notice it says faith is the

substance of things hoped for and the evidence of

things not seen. Faith is the proof that what you are

believing God for already exists.

It's a matter of releasing the substance of it for it

to become physical. Everything in the physical realm

has substance. Spiritual things have no physical

substance that's why you need faith because it is the

substance of things not seen. Example, Mary received a

word from God that she would have a son (Luke 1:31).

What did she do with that word? She said "Be it unto me

according to thy word" (Luke 1:38). And look what was

said about her "And blessed is she that believed: for

there shall be a performance of those things which were

told her from the Lord" (Luke 1:45). And she brought

forth a son and not just any son, but Jesus(the word

made flesh).

Your faith should be producing. Producing what?

Whatever you release it to do when it is based on the

word of God. Because faith is your servant and it will

do whatever you release it to do. And how do you

release it by what you say (Luke 17:6-10). So put your

servant to work he will not let you down.

The remainder of the 11th chapter of Hebrews would suggest that faith goes beyond mere speaking.

By faith Abel offered, Enoch pleased, Noah prepared, Abraham went out, etc...

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
(James 2:18-20)

Faith hears, faith trusts, faith
obeys. Faith does not serve us;
faith serves GOD!!

faith serves GOD!!
by ministering needs to others we are serving God. True glory never comes from what we say out of our mouths when we praise Him, it rarely comes that way. It comes indirectly when we serve one another as God would have us to be. When we fall into our perspective order we glorify God in Spirit and in Truth.

Because faith is your servant and it will do whatever you release it to do.
You know, I have a hard time accepting this as fact. It's not that I don't want to believe it, no not at all, it's just that I don't think it's right to say that faith is your servant.

My opinion.

Faith seems to be the focus here and to me is close to becoming an Idol. Let's focus on Jesus Christ and relationship with Him. Faith is then just our conduit or vehicle to maintaining relationship with the Lord.

You are setting yourself up for a fall and much disappointment. God is not beholden even to our "Faith".

He will not be beholden or indebted to any man.

If you make Faith your object and obsession, be careful, because the Lord may let you continue in your folly.

I didn't say it that's what the scripture says.

Faith is not my oject and obsession and Jesus is the focus seeing that even Jesus told people "According to your faith be it unto you." And "Thy faith has made you whole." So it appears that your faith has a lot to do with what you receive from God. I did not say God is beholden to any man because it's about receiveing from God his work is done. Even Jesus himself it says "He could not do any mighty works because of their unbelief." So faith is not my obsession pleasing God is and without faith it is impossible to please him (Hebrews 11:6)
