Chapter 23: Bible verses missing?? Check your bible fast!!!!!
After I got saved & had received the gift of the Holy Spirit, I started to develop an unusual hunger (which should come natural to everyone who gets saved) for studying the word of God. After a period of familiarizing my self with the word of God, I started getting teachings from the Spirit of God in the form of revelation knowledge. There was something that struck me about this experience and that is the fact that when God teaches me something, he leads me to scripture to confirm it. This bothered me so much because I always thought that It was the other way around i.e I will first have to read before I hear.
I learned that the words of scriptures are not just speculative when it says "faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word of God". Indeed my faith began to grow as I heard from Jesus himself who is the Holy Spirit! I do not shy away from saying I hear from God because I do, unlike those who are unsure and will always attack those who take their time to obey us who go into the things of God to know what he requires of us.
I was astonished when I realized that every time I heard and was led to confirm what I have heard, I saw clearly that it matches exactly what scripture says, I believed more or my faith in God was increased!
Today I will like to take a little bit of your time to share something of absolute importance to your spiritual growth as Christians. Something that took place while men slept and were not discerning. God bless the reader!
Imagine a man walks up to you and he says to you “ My name is Mr 'J' and I will like to go into a business venture with you ,I actually own Wall mart, Costco, the whole of Colombia mall and half of Maryland! Will you just say “ok, how much stakes are there to buy and when will I be able to give you the money because I am ready to go into business right away”? No you wouldn't right, instead you will first call to be sure that Mr J is who he says he is, then you will go ahead to make proper investigations about his identity before you further into any kind of business with this fellow.
Yes, pointing to my experience as an early convert, I can say that even God wants us to confirm his word wether from the pulpit or directly from the Spirit with scriptures for the approval, affirmation and growth of our faith in him regarding what he has said to us about himself, sin, repentance, our salvation, our walk (I like to use the word “walk” because we are not saved by works, we are saved because while walking with him we allowed him to work through us and this by grace and not of our own doing) with him and the promise eternal life.
I found out recently that a lot of clauses were missing or had been changed in NIV, NISB, NASB, RSV, GNV, NKJV version of God's (Mr J) proposal to us while comparing scriptures therein with scriptures in the King James version! It was shocking the amount of verses which had not only been changed to lead people astray but also had been completely omitted!
It should be emphasized though that though I am making this exposition, we should not loose sight of the fact that it is the "Spirit of God" who gives understanding and not the black and white of any book or bible version. Secondly, that if we get carried away by depending too much on "easier to read/understand versions" of what we think to be the word of God, it will be very easy to loose our dependence on the Spirit and that will be very dangerous for any Christian. He inspired the bible, and it is him we should depend on for easy access into the mystery of the things of God written down in the bible. There are too many "trojan horse" versions of Gods word out there, we must all beware.
An example of some of the verses completely omitted in NIV is Acts 8:37, and the sequence is as follows in KJV:
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

This information is just so vital to unbelievers who are hungry for the word, or even new converts who have a zeal to preach the word but have not confirmed the what they have heard is affirmable, as they will have to refer to scriptures when preaching the word. A lot of questions and arguments have arose from the issue of whether it is ok for a eunoch to be baptized and what have you but those arguing are arguing because they have been deprived of the truth by agents of Satan.
Now let us see what NIV has to say about the previous reading:
36As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?"
38And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

i.e 1,2.......36,?,38!! Where is 37????
The NIV bible completely omits verse 37, and goes on to verse 38. To me it looks a like complete fraud! Note that there are very many explicit omissions in scripture, and such are not to be taken for granted! Remember that“all scripture is God breathed (has a Godly spiritual origin) and is for the use of the perfection of the saints (us), this matter can not be trivialized when looking for a bible.
Please look below to see that what I am presenting is indeed an issue to be careful about. This are the end times and it can not be a coincidence or accident that all these changes and omission have been made. It is deliberate because you will also see extremely similar problems in the ESV and a hand full of other version of scriptures.
I use the KJV to do my comparisons because KJV is the only one that "seems" accurate these days. Note that it is the Spirit of God and not the version that gives understanding!
