"Know ye not that . . ye are not your own?" 1 Corinthians 6:19

There is no such thing as a private life - "a world within the world" - for a man or woman who is brought into fellowship with Jesus Christ's sufferings. God breaks up the private life of His saints, and makes it a thoroughfare for the world on the one hand and for Himself on the other. No human being can stand that unless he is identified with Jesus Christ. We are not sanctified for ourselves, we are called into the fellowship of the Gospel, and things happen which have nothing to do with us, God is getting us into fellowship with Himself. Let Him have His way, if you do not, instead of being of the slightest use to God in His Redemptive work in the world, you will be a hindrance and a clog.

The first thing God does with us is to get us based on rugged Reality until we do not care what becomes of us individually as long as He gets His way for the purpose of His Redemption. Why shouldn't we go through heartbreaks? Through those doorways God is opening up ways of fellowship with His Son. Most of us fall and collapse at the first grip of pain; we sit down on the threshold of God's purpose and die away of self-pity, and all so called Christian sympathy will aid us to our death bed. But God will not. He comes with the grip of the pierced hand of His Son, and says - "Enter into fellowship with Me; arise and shine." If through a broken heart God can bring His purposes to pass in the world, then thank Him for breaking your heart.

Why shouldn't we go through heartbreaks? Through those doorways God is opening up ways of fellowship with His Son.

Amen, we must see that we are a part of God's Army in the epic battle of the ages, to see Christ's throne established in the hearts of men. Every soldier counts, every soldier must see that he is part of something much bigger than himself. Lets live to give to Him.

Amen and thank You Holy Spirit!

It is only when our hearts are broken that the Lord becomes even more real to us. He brings us closer to Him than ever before and from that broken heart can we have a quietness as never before, an assurance that we are His and He is ours. Then the thankfulness breaks forth and a joy that no one can ever take from us. Even if our mother & father forsake us, our church, our mate, our children, our family, our friends; if we are homeless, hungry, all alone, we know that the Lord will never forsake us and we can always have that deep heart knowledge that His banner over us is love and in sweet communion. That sweet,sweet, deep communion with Him. And when we see Him coming in the clouds for us and our eyes meet and there is the slightest of nods that we know each other and just had been in sweet communion together. No love on earth can be compared for the love of the Savior and His Bride.

A broken heart hurts so bad, but like in childbirth, the pains are horrendous at times and lasts a long time sometimes but then they bring forth such joy with a child that we now only focus on the prize and thank God with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Thank You Lord Jesus for your unconditional love for us. For forgiving us and loving us and for bringing us closer to Yourself. We are not worthy but You are and You long to have communion with us. Thank You for all You do for us, to bring us closer, to prepare us to be Your Bride. We love You, appreciate You, adore You, bow down to You! We joy in who You are Lord. For You are God - Our God! Amen and Amen

yes Thank you for posting that Joyful heart. It was an encouragement to me as well!

May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His sufferings. May we be partakers of this same joy.
