So I came across these videos that have been interesting for me to watch and thought they might be interesting to some of you as well. Please excuse the poor sound quality of the first video.

I am greatly encouraged by the number of men and women of God that are surrendering one by one to the Spirit's leading and breaking away from the institutionalized church to fulfill a deeper walk and service for our Lord Jesus Christ.

I truly admire him and David Platt for their honest stand for the teachings of our Lord, which the church had willfully ignored for so long.

David Platt has a series called " The Radical Demands of the Gospel". You can get it on his church website.

Here are some other videos of Francis Chan:

Here you will see him dancing to the wordly song of Justin Timberlake "Señorita".

Here starting at the 1 minute 16 second mark you will see a shameful video he made, even portraying a homosexual.

Sister Lina, I probably would not approve of the break dancing at this point in my walk, but I know you can be a spirit-filled believer and use that kind of stuff to try to relate to the culture, and not realize its wrong til a later point in your walk. We have all changed our views about certain kinds of things we put up with as Christians. Maybe Chan did wrong in trying to break dance and show off a little. But should we really paint an evil picture of him and discount his whole ministry based on that video clip?

As to the second video, It did not seem to me that he was trying to portray a homosexual. It seemed he was just trying to be a little funny about his romance with his wife. And again, maybe he would not approve of that kind of humor now a days. We can all easily be mislead or deceived by the culture and we are all growing in our walk, including pastors.

I know that not long before he resigned he had a radical awakening experience after watching footage of some brutal persecution of Christians in India.

If you check out his whole ministry, you will find that he lived and preached much uncompromised biblical truth that is seldom heard from a pulpit these days.
