1 Peter chapter 4

When I woke up this morning i heard the words "behold, the end of all things are at hand", play in my head like a broken record.

This passage is taken out of 1 Peter chapter 4. So I read the chapter a few times to glean what the Lord might want to speak to me. Here are some verses that realy stood out:

7)But the end of all things is at hand; Therefore be serious and watchful in our prayers.

8)And above all things have fervant love for one another,

12)Do not think it strange concerning the fiery trials which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.

17)For the time has come for judgement to begin in the house of God; and if it begins with us first what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

May the Lord search our hearts today.
God give us clean hands and a pure heart.

Makes me wonder what is just around the corner in these next couple of years.

What a wonderful God we serve!

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

The Lord has laid this verse on my heart for these times.

The Lord will show himself strong for his people in these last days.

Praise God!

This has been something deeply impressed on me also for over 1 year now:

The Lord also really began to speak to me and my wife about this in early '09 through the word and and prophetic dreams that my wife Elizabeth had.

This is the verse that was given to me.
"Behold, what I have built I will break down, and what I have planted I will pluck up, that is, this whole land. And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I will bring adversity on all flesh." Jeremiah 45:4-5

"Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!" 18:20

Judgment is coming. Behold, Bethel has become Beth-Haven.
