Wouldn't it be amazing if there was a burden for the body as a whole to once again operate like it did in Antioch?
It's all about me... I think this idea of self preservation is so strong in America that it has influenced how we view each other in the body of Christ. We don't see how our lives affect one another and how our sin is not just against ourselves, but the Lord and our sisters and brothers. When I meet Christians from other countries and find out I'm a brother in Christ it's amazing the instant fellowship we have. It's very rare to find true unity and fellowship in America without protecting ourselves first. This needs to change in the modern church.
