i am a slave of Christ and i fear God.
there is nothing more i can say, save to Praise Such a Merciful God, Who is a Consumimg Fire.
all one can do is to approach the Cross on his knees, to take It on a feeble back and expect Gethesamane, expect reproach, expect a scourge while longing for the Assembly in the New Jerusalem.
Let us get to the Cross, and keep on our eyes on the Eternal and Lasting.
Indeed traditional religion , have dilute the WORD A CHRISTIAN. A Liar , fornicator , corrupt, carnal , and all kinds of fleshy people still name themselves as a title. But that does not make them a Christian. Indeed a Christian is someone with Christ holy divine life, through divine revelation, and ever desiring to be fill with HIS FULLNESS.
I'm just a sinner saved by grace.
I think I understand the purpose behind this... but let me say that what the church does NOT need is more "self esteem" hype. I think it is very approriate for us to have a healthy and correct view of our condition were it not for Christ imputing His righteousness into us as believers.
There is no good in me apart from the righteousness that comes from Christ... and Christ alone.
I belive that God saves us and that we are reedemed by his loving grace but we have abused that love to apoint were its become so hard to just get up in the morning and say i am a Christian. Why? because we have replaced Our holiness with worldliness we have even lost the respect for the altar the holy place of were the lord lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why have we lost our identity???
expect Gethesamane, expect reproach, expect a scourge while longing for the Assembly in the New Jerusalem.
Amen Neil.
The marks of a true Christian in this hour:
Cherishing a Hope that they will not part with for worlds.
But at the same time:
Mourning in Zion... for the condition of Zion.
Feeling their life has come to ashes.
Full of heaviness at times.
Quite often perplexed and filled with tears, wondering where their God is.
Often feeling barren and fruitless... and at other times
groaning within like a woman in travail.
