Someone once said; "Rick Warren has done more good than all of the "discernment ministries combined.."
How could that be?...He's of the One World anti-Christ movement.....but..some people seem to cull from him. I will not.

So, I suppose you can judge for yourself, right here on SI. My advice however, is to avoid the subtle deceit altogether. Nothing good will come from his "ministry" but deception will, as I see it.
Rick now has a big enough following where he does not have to worry about other ministries exposing him. They will not do enough damage to injure his power or financial base. For every ministry that is exposing his false teachings there are 10 promoting them. The majority that are promoting him is enough for him to keep on thinking that he is correct.
Nevertheless, we are living in perilous times and my observations are that we do not really understand what Timothy was talking about when he was referring to "seducing spirits".
Again, I don't want to come across as "defending" Rick Warren (since I neither listen to the man nor read any of his books).
However, I will point out that it doesn't look like he has any affiliation with that group listed in this post's web link.
You need to be EXTREMELY accurate if you are going to publicly criticize the man. If you are going to say that he is trying to create a one-world religion, then you owe it to the purity of God to provide the SPECIFIC evidence (that is not made up of a bunch of dot-connecting conjectures).
Otherwise, there is a lack of specificity and a measure of ambiguity in the accusations being made by sincere believers. We should be above that.
Let's not forget that Muslims like Jesus. So, just because the new agers like Warren doesn't mean he's one with them.

We should be careful how we deal with this man, if God accepts him and we do not, and we find that he made it into heaven, what does that say about our ability to discern?
I would have to say that our discernment is in the loo.

Thank you very much for posting this. After listening to this you can see without a doubt that Rick Warren and the Catholic church are on the same page.
Richard Bennett is one of my favorites when it comes to exposing The Emerging Church movement and it's deceptions along with other contemporary error.
Don't expect it to be easy to take a stand for the Word of God, today.

Why was Paul innocent from the blood of all men?; because he declared the whole counsel of God..that there is only one way to the Father...through his Son alone.
Inclusion of any other religions or gods, or unholy permissive ways is death. There is much documentation of Warren's Ecumenicalism [ that God is glorified in many religions or social activities], and inclusive faith.
ACTS 20

Paul was not inclined to pray for the wolves, but to mark them and expose them for the church to avoid. He called this "shepherding" the flock, by virtue of warning..He did, however, pray and lay his life down for God's people, who were inclined to listen to, and follow the wolves.

Again, I do not want to be accused of "defending" Rick Warren, his views, his beliefs or anything similar. However, I do think that we need to be both CLEAR and SPECIFIC if we are going to levy such specific allegations.

This is extremely important. If we are going to publicly scrutinize some man and call him a "wolf" in a public forum viewed by believers and nonbelievers alike, then we need to be carefully specific with our allegations.
I have researched many of the allegations about Rick Warren. I even read through some of the comments that were supposedly attributed to him (some falsely) and even contacted his ministry. I was told explicitly that Rick Warren is an evangelical believer and does NOT support some "one world religion" or "ecumenical" goal. After all, there is a difference between a dialog and alignment.
Now, I have seen several unsubstantiated allegations and accusations about the man. Sometimes, people have attempted to substantiate their accusations with a series of dot-connected conjectures derived from supposed "sources" that often go unscrutinized for their validity. Some of those sources are merely conspiracy theory websites that quote people who quote Rick Warren (hearsay).
If we are going to say that Rick Warren believes "such-and-such," then we need to CLEARLY provide evidence (two or three sources) that would establish such an accusation. If we are going to say that Rick Warren is a false prophet, it isn't enough to merely say what we think he believes...or that he is a wolf...or that he teaches heresy. We need to give specific examples (in context) about what he teaches or proclaims and why it is wrong.
After all, we are children of God. We should make sure that everything we say is entirely true. If we endeavor to make an issue of exposing those who are false (or those who we think are false), then we need to do it properly.
I did see that he attended a Muslim confrence once, and was asked to speak at it. If he is such a "Godly" man then why would a Muslim confrence invite him to speak? Normally, darkness is very opposed to light.

Perhaps instead of asking us...or offering conjecture...maybe you should contact his ministry and ask him why he attended (and what he said when he was there)?

He stressed that working together does not mean that participants need to compromise their convictions. Muslims and Christians can "walk hand and hand and not see eye to eye" and be "unified without uniformity."

To "walk hand in hand and not see eye to eye" is a denial of this Scripture. Islam is a great decieving religion, and denies the doctrine of Christ. All I am simply saying, is that Dr. Warren is greatly in the wrong for saying such a thing and needs to spend more time perhaps seeking God's face.
