And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light. Matthew 17:2
When the sun shines on snow in high elevations it reflects the light to such a degree as to cause blindness. When a light flashed from heaven around Saul of Tarsus driving him down to the dust of the Damascus road he was blinded. He heard a voice with the light saying "I am Jesus". He dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. For God is Light and Jesus reflects the light of God so fully that he can say "if you have seen me you have seen the Father". Jesus is the lamb of God and his wool is white as snow and the light reflected from his wool is mixed with his blood shed on the Cross. His light not only searches out sin but provides purification from it. Walk in the light as he is in the light and confess our sins as they are revealed and the blood of Jesus will completely cleanse you.
