Hi: It's me again..... A short while ago, I went to the mailbox to pick up the mail. I find a envelope addressed to me, and also in the top left corner it reads: "Carly, enclosed is your Green Acts 19 Prayer Handkerchief to help you start receiving God's Blessings!" from Don Stewart Association.I didn't know that I needed a "Prayer Handkerchief" in order to receive God's Blessings. Am I missing out on something? Carly 8-)

Hi Carly,You're obviously on this guy's junk mail list. You can check out nearly any ministry with your computer. Just type their name in your browser's search engine. Don Stewart looks like another TV evangelist-type, full of hype and showmanship. Quote from his website: In 1970, A.A. Allen died unexpectedly and Don Stewart was named to take over the leadership of his organization. [A.A. Allen] was Rev. Stewart's spiritual father and mentor. Don still believes, teaches and practices the revelation truths of healing and prosperity instilled in his life through the years of sharing the platform with A.A. Allen. A.A. Allen died of alcoholism. A. A. Allen's death certificate Prayer cloths, hankies and bracelets are the latest fad with these guys. Don't fall for that stuff. They want your MONEY. Carly, cancel all that junkmail and get into the sermons and articles here on SI. They will help you so much!Mrs. Fred

I have used anointed hankies from a Prophet to receive physical healing as well as spiritual and mental healing. We have given anointed hankies to people throughout the world, with reports of miraculous results still coming back. We do not randomly send out these hankies but give them to people as they express a need in their life or the life of someone they know. We then explain that the anointing for signs and wonders in Bro. Deckard's life can be transferred to the cloth in the hankie. When they place the hankie on themselves or their friend and pray that same anointing is there to break the yoke in their life. It's the Anointing which breaks the Yoke.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. - Matthew 11:29

James 2:1-6 - My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? These men you are sending money and prayer requests to are of the ones mentioned below:2 Corinthians 2:17 (kjv) - For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.2 Corinthians 2:17 (amp) - For we are not, like so many, [like hucksters making a trade of] peddling God's Word [shortchanging and adulterating the divine message]; but like [men] of sincerity and the purest motive, as [commissioned and sent] by God, we speak [His message] in Christ (the Messiah), in the [very] sight and presence of God.

Prayer clothes and the such, are inspired by the following:Acts 19:11,12And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.I believe that in the true believers life, they are effective and work. At our church, we have prayed over hankerchiefs and the person would bring it home and place it under the lost loved one's pillow or something. However, there is nothing "magical" about the hankerchief..nor do I agree with "marketing" such things or sending them out in bulk in the mail.

Umm...hard not to 'go there' and ironic that you would bring him up at this time of the year. I was quite stunned a few years ago to see that they had given him air time again. Had watched a program prior to that where they had uncovered that his wife(?) I think it was that was miked up and telling him information into his ear piece while he "prophesied" over the unsuspecting in his audience. Apparently they were getting information off of prayer requests. It wasn't too long after that I saw him back on TV and the image of him standing over his sons seated on a couch asking them to tell the camera what Jesus meant to them 'this Christmas' was the most un-sincere thing I have ever seen. Glib, forced, and one of them looked as he was going to bust out in a "this is a joke" chuckling as he mouthed "Jesus is the reason for the season".I wanted to throw up.In fact here is a link to the former conduct mentioned as well as a video link to his fraud. (Quality is poor)http://www.bible.ca/tongues-popoff-39-17Mhz.htmEdit* Much better quality, though a larger download: http://www.moonhoax.com/Video/tv%20preacher%20demo%20web%20output.mpgThis is the worst of the worst. If you can stomach it, he is still going at it. I would encourage you to check out the ministry,http://www.discernment.orgThey were very involved with ministries described above and have shared their story in hope to warn other fellow Christians their doctrinal errors. I have spoken to Rev. Robert S. Liichow about some issues personally in my life that have affected me in regards to spirital abuse that my wife and I went through in the 1990's. If anyone is interested in our story, please let me know.Grace,Doug
