Former President Jimmy Carter says U.S. voters have reached the point where they would be willing to elect a gay president “in the near future.”
Carter made his remarks on the Big Think website, which bills itself as an “online knowledge forum.” The site offers over 1,500 interviews with prominent experts in a variety of fields.

May we pray for these men in leadership fervently with love for their turning to our Lord and them guiding the people into righteousness in the nation.

Before Jimmy Carter was elected, he claimed to be a committed witness for Christ, and I believe, a devout Baptist. I may have voted for him...I can't remember.

He has evolved, or "Came out" himself as a raging anti-Christ super-liberal. He has made it clear that he detests Israel, and sides with their enemies at every opportunity; and now this foolishness.

He has embraced every Socialist agenda that he could chime in on with liberal rhetoric that is simply Marxist nonsense. We've elected some stinkers, and some incompetents, as President, but Jimmy Carter may take the cake for the biggest flip flop away from the evangelical claims, to Marxism as a religion.[He almost sunk the economy..]

He's lost his mind, or at best, his conscience.

In addition to this, I was shown much more serious judgments to come. Will we repent as a Nation? Jimmy Carter is a vivid example of neo-American ideas about repenting. Yes, repenting unto Sodom.

It is very sad.The children are innocent, but they must bear the judgment of their fathers, and it is upon us.

There is still a large percentage of the population that opposes gay rights. The day that the United States elects a gay president will be the doom of the Republic. Even if they don't elect a gay president but make that lifestyle "alright" through the Senate and put these things into law nationwide, certain doom will befall this nation.

What I would like to know is why is a supposedly Christian man like Jimmy Carter seems to hint that this is a good thing for America when he said, “I think the entire population of America has come tremendous strides forward in dealing with the issue of gays."

The day that the United States elects a gay president will be the doom of the Republic.
