prayer request

Hi, I don't know how to be specific in my request without going into detail about my life story, so I'll keep it pretty general. Please pray I put my trust in the Lord for everything. That I rest in the faith of Christ alone. That He can use me and that I can serve Him, though when I look at myself I see an absolute impossibility, He has given me every reason to know He does the impossible. The fear of how people see me must evaporate by the fear of the Lord. Please pray I realize what this calling is that has been nagging me since a little child. After 20 yrs of denying Him, He hasn't forgotten me but snatched me out of death's door time and time again, though I tried to pass through. I've always known this thing he wants me to do is greater than I can do. But I have seen His power and I know He can hold me up. I so want to accept whatever it is but I am attacked by the need to fit in. I can't describe how much I long to be the radical follower of the Lord I feel led to be. But I can't find any of them around me, I never could. I can't be the ever so popular lukewarm Christian. God has shown me I must choose to leave everything for Him. I'll stop here before I keep going on. Prayer is greatly appreciated. -I want to praise God for deliverance. For He called to me though I rejected Him. I cursed him for making me but He took me as His own. I chose to believe a lie and yet he gave me the truth. I placed myself in satans hand but He snatched me out. He spoke words of Love into my heart of stone. He brought me out of utter tourment. Thanks,Ryan

Ryan,I will keep you in prayer. I will be praying that the Lord's will is done in your life. I can tell from what you are saying here that the Lord is calling you to lay down everything and follow Him. He is pursuing you and this is a good thing! I would like you to read something. it's called "Others May But You Cannot". I think you will be able to relate to it and i think you will see that you are not alone, as well as on the right path.I have faith that the work He is doing in you, He will bring to full completion. May the Lord's will be done in and through you, Ryan.In Him, Chanin

Praise God Ryan! As another sinner who has been snatched from the gates of hell into glorious hope in Jesus Christ, I rejoice with you. Those who are broken and leaning fully on God don't always fit in everywhere but don't think that you should isolate yourself either. I think it was Ravenhill who said you don't need to advertise a fire, people will just come. When they see you burning for God people will either run the other way or be drawn to the fire in you.We will join you in prayer that you would be filled with the knowledge of God's will and be strengthened in His might.Lord Jesus make us fuel for your flame! In Christ,Ron

Yes, praise God brother Ryan,I've always been a bit of a square peg myself, so I certainly can emphathize with you. As one who was snatched from the fire as well, I can't tell you how grateful I am to Jesus Christ.God is leading me to this place where I'm sold out for Jesus but I don't know what that's supposed to look like. Just because we don't see it much in the U.S. doesn't mean that it's not possible. You can see the sold-out life clearly in Acts.I've been blessed by some others who are seeking the same and we're still a work in progress. Will join you in prayer about this Ryan.Lord Jesus make us fuel for your flame! Amen Brother Ron.

I will pray for you. Take heart, you are not alone! God will be faithful to place those in your life who have a true, genuine heart to love and serve God with everything they have. We are few, yes, but not extinct. We are a family, we're a team, we're an army. We will help you with our prayers and encourage by being a living example. May God bring you peace and rest after you obey Him through your life's battles.

Brother RyanI do wan to tell you that you are an immense blessing brother and I will pray for you today, that you may grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the brightness of the Father’s glory and the express image of his person and uphold all things by the authority of his power. The word of God will not return to him void until it has accomplished what he has sent it to do, and truly the word is in our tabernacles (bodies). No one can confess that Jesus is the Lord except it is from God, and a measure of his word is in him. Blessed is he who does hunger and thirst after righteousness for he shall be filled. Let us give occasion for the word of God to go forth from us in prayer that we may nourish each other for the glory of the Father and his Son, whose throne is forever and ever.In ChristJames

Brothers and sisters in Christ,Thanks, most importantly for the prayers and also for the encouraging responses. Chanin, I could definately relate to "Others may but you cannot", and the whole site looks really good.It sure can be tough going through trials but the tougher the trials seem the greater the manifestation of God's power by just looking directly into Him and His glory. Thanks again,Ryan
