Asking for Wisdom!

Yodi Nov 10, 2004

I would appreciate your prayers concerning a young girl's life I know God has placed me in. I've known her for about 2 years and have tried my best to be a good, godly example to her. But her heart is pretty hard and she lives in continued, willful disobedience to the Lord. She knows better, but has chosen to displease the Lord anyway.I will continue to faithfully pray for her, that she would be convicted of her sin, that God would open up her dad's eyes to the things she does behind his back (God has already been faithful to do this), and most of all that she would choose to love the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind. But, if I don't see a change of heart, which I haven't truly seen in the past couple years, then I think I'm going to have to take action. I care about this girl too much to let her continue in willful sin. God has allowed her to confide in me for a reason, though it grieves me, and I must help her! I can't have her blood on my hands! So please pray that God would give me wisdom; when to have patience, and when to pratice discipline; when to pratice grace, and when to let go.Thank you very much for your prayers! They will not be in vain.

From an old counselor:Border lines and pressure are at times valid tools in a counselling process.Introduce conditions in relation to your fellowship.“You cannot go on in what you do and expect me to stand and watch – I have to. . .”We will pray. . .Lars

Thank you very much for your prayers! They will not be in vain.I am praying Yolanda! dont carry to much of the burden that it will overwhelm you, let Jesus in you be the one that carries the burden. "my burden is light". Be encouraged you have others lifting up this situation before our heavenly Father.
