Things are about to get hotter!

sermonindex Jan 11, 2011

Times are dark and it is vital that Gods people cry out to Him. That phrase , " cry out," is used multiple times in the Scriptures and truly reflect the hearts of those who are called by God Himself.

Psa 126:1-6 A Song of degrees. When Jehovah turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. (2) Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then they said among the nations, Jehovah has done great things with them. (3) Great things did Jehovah to work with us and we are glad. (4) Turn again our captivity, O Jehovah, as the streams in the south. (5) Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. (6) He who goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

The Lord will undoubtedly use the tears of the burdened saints to water the seed and they will see a harvest of transformed lives. Let Christendom awaken from its slumbers and let them be full of the light of God which is the life in men.

Dan 10:12 Then he said to me, Do not fear, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard. And I have come for your words.

It is comforting to know that from the very first day that Daniel began to fast and pray that his prayers were heard before the throne and we see that there was a battle going on that was unseen. Saints, I am convinced that there is a mighty battle going on right now, even as we speak. I believe that this battle will soon overflow from the spiritual realm into this physical realm.

And we know from Scripture that our battle is against principalities and powers, against the worlds rulers, against the darkness of this age and against spiritual wickedness in high places. (eph 6:12) I am convinced that the saints that have been called to pray and intercede are experiencing trials and tribulations like never before because of this very battle. It may be in the mind and it may have physical manifestations or probably both. Now is the time for steadfastness.

Now is the time to prevail and overcome. Now is not the time to shrink back although the flesh may cry out for that. All the promises are made to those who " overcome." The Lord tells us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world and that is how we overcome. Here is the mindset of the overcomer, and the enemy of our souls would say...........
Dan 3:15 ................................ But if you do not worship, in that moment you shall be thrown into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. And who is that god who shall deliver you out of my hand?

And here is the reply of Gods faithful children...............

Dan 3:16-18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to return a word to you on this matter. (17) If it is so that our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, then He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. (18) But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods nor worship the golden image which you have set up.

That last sentence sums up the overcomer " and they loved not their souls unto death." Isn't interesting that the reaction of the enemy to those words was to make the furnace seven times hotter than normal. I believe this is exactly what will happen when Gods people all over the world engage the enemy on this level, when they wake up and take a stand against the " rulers of this world." He will turn on them with such an intensity. But glory be to God we see that even when the furnace was seven time hotter, when the enemy has done its worse, its the enemy who dies, its the enemy who bows the knee to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and acknowledges the true and the living God...........brother Frank

1Sa 3:1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; "there was no open vision."

Pray GOD for our eyesight to be cleared to see what you see.

We see the warning to the Laodiceans.

Thank you Brother intercessor.

It is interesting... Thank you for pointing that out... the enemy did, in fact, heat the oven seven times hotter at their stand!

This reminded me of a Derek Prince sermon I listened to last week, in it he said (paraphrased), "This isn't popular but I believe that the Church will leave the same way Christ did, through the Cross." (It may or may not have anything to do with your post, it just reminded me of what he said.)

Thank you for posting this, it's definitely from the Lord.

God bless you,
Lisa

Amen, Frank.

Now is the time for steadfastness.

"Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."

Things are about to get hotter!

You mean you believe this "global warming" thing is actually happening, Frank?

"You mean you believe this "global warming" thing is actually happening, Frank?"

I think you probably know me better than that brother ? :) No, the intensity is increasing and the enemy will certainly turn up the heat on any who decide to be done with this world and live only for God, whatever that costs them.........brother Frank

Things are about to get hotter! Things are about to get hotter!
You mean you believe this "global warming" thing is actually happening, Frank?

Surely, you jest!!!

I'm not jesting at all.

"For behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven..." (Mal. 4.1).

The whole verse is very powerful. The wicked are not going to be able to abide the day.

But the righteous shall find great release in it... shall go forth like calves let loose from the stall. (Ever see calves let out of the stall, kicking and jumping for joy?)

...Just as the fiery furnace burned the bonds off Daniel's friends ("I see four men loose...") ...and they found fellowship in the midst of it all with the Son of God.

Frank, thanks for sharing this.

I believe the power of the Church is in its unity.

Ephesians 4:13 -16 ' ... Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: that we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ: from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Alive to God writes this ....

"I believe the power of the Church is in its unity."

Amen. Directly proportional to the rise of persecution, I believe that we will see a wonderful unity amongst God's children............brother Frank

Thank you for your encouragement from the Word.

"Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God.......... for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way."

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,

"For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered."

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ah sister, how I love those verses. They have represented my very sanity at times in my life. I love the honesty of God in His word, how He does not shy away from the fact that we will face all these things and yet in all of those tings we are more than conquerors, praise the living God.

"neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

This is a declaration from the throne of heaven to brothers and sisters all over the world and in times past and in times to come if the Lord tarries. The devil can scream and roar and make a loud noise, but for the saints who have discovered the the joy of the Lord his noise will be drowned out by the praise of the saints. We will indeed " awakwn the dawn," with shouts of joy and adoration and no force will ever be able to silence us.........brother Frank
