I decided to create an account on this board.Not sure where it will take me but lets see what happens.
My purpose for even coming onto this website at all is to hear messages from preachers who are not caught up into the culture of today. Usually these type of preachers tell people what they want to hear and water down the gospel.
I am interested in biblical dialogue and exchanging ideas. I don't entertain ideas that take a bible passage just as it is without asking what does it mean, otherwise those who not those important questions really never grow up.
Some may ask why 'DEADn'. (like deaden or deadening) It is a reflecting of a time when I turned my heart off to God as a result of many people around me who gave me disillusionment towards the things of God. Anything from being 'super' spiritual to making excuses for sins. It all really ate me up inside and I committed what I call spiritual suicide. Turned off prayer, bible reading, going to church, christian music, etc.
DEADn serves to remind me of what happened and serves as a checkmate for my life. It serves a purpose in my life in terms of Chrisitianity.
