Thanks Ron.Tricia has taken on a role where few dare tread. Have written to her in the past to encourage as it can be very spiritually depleting to deal with all these things and could only imagine the extent of that in her case. The thing I keep thinking about is that, for those who were not around to see how things used to be, they are really only doing and thinking what they think is genuine Christianity. They simply don't know any better. Many have no hunger for God's word and therefor are at the mercy of all that comes down the pipe. I, personally, have some serious problems with the currect state of "Praise and Worship." The emphasis is on the music and not the lyrics and it is usually repetitive and shallow. What ever happened to songs like:Rock of AgesTrust and ObeyAn old Account SettledCome and DineHe Took My Sins AwayI Have Decided To Follow JesusIn the Garden...And a host of others?Everything seems so shallow. Solemnity is feared.

Solemnity is feared. i must agree. i love old songs like "In the Cross" and "When i survey the wondrous Cross". they have so much meaning.

I don't know about the states but we have some hymn writers over here who are reintroducing some solid biblical truths into their hymns.
