I have always had an attraction to the faith of the early church fathers and would love to learn more of their stories.Some of them include:Clement of RomeIgnatiusPolycarpJustinIrenaeusTertullianClement of AlexandriaOrigenCyprianAphraatesEphraemAthanasiusJohn ChrysostomAugustineHermasThese believers did not have many of the tools we have available to us today to spread the gospel, Printed Bibles, Online Bibles, Books, Visual aids (internet, computers, etc.), digital music instrunments, and even church buildings. Hi DougThe writings of many of these men can be found Christian Classics Ethereal Library In some cases their writings provide a fascinating glimpse into early church conditions and can help our understanding of the scriptures. In other cases their writings are contrary to scripture. Their theologies too are orthodox and heretical; so read carefully.woops! these are all in Greek. let me see if I can find some English versions.
