After the operation...

Dear Sermon Index friends,
My heart is overflowing with thanks to all who is praying for me during this difficult season in my life,concerned my health.
Yesterday I had the operation where the removed the tumor and the sentinel node.
I experienced deep peace that really was far above my own understanding. Words of the Lord came to my mind and I like to share just some of theme with you.....
Proverbs 20:20-22,Psalm 112:7, Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 107:20
After the operation I woke up with lovely songs of worship in my heart.

A few weeks ago I was reading "Freedom from fear"by Zac Poonen (see Text sermons)One line especially was echoing in my thoughs "If you fear God, you need not fear nothing else"

Now it is waiting time for me. The new report will be at 25 february. Will you keep up you prayers for me, that there will be no more speading in other parts of my body.
And I stay peaceful all the time.

Praying.

Praise the Lord, Browny!! My prayers for you (along with the prayers of many others I'm sure) were answered. I have had many trials in my life (though not the one you are facing) and I have to say that of course we always want God to answer our prayers ie: for healing, a job, finances, wayward child, etc. BUT in my experience, that peace that passes ALL understanding is the greatest answer to prayer of all. It can ONLY be an act of God in the face of great trials. I am continuing to pray for you. Thank you for taking the time to update. Pls keep us posted on how you are doing :) God bless you!
