FROM THE HEART OF SISTER GWEN SHAW - A Call to Prayer

May the Dear Lord hear our cries and supplications. My heart bleeds at the great decline our faith and sound doctrine is suffering. What must have caused this? Sound doctrine has almost left the church. Righteousness is no longer common in our pews. We need a re-awakening. Where is the faith of our fathers? Where is that purity and holiness that was once delivered to the saints of old? I feel so heavy a burden that I can't express in words. Oh Holy Spirit! Raise up people! Fill us with Your power that we may stand in this evil day against the wiles of the enemy. Give us young men who will battle for the truth. Give us old men who will readily pass the baton of fire and zeal possessed in the days of youth. As for me, dear Lord, help me do what I must do. Let me pray the right prayer. Prepare me against the evils ahead. AMEN!
