Smart Phone

I am new to the smart phone world. I just got a droidX which plays mp3's and gets online. I can play sermons on the phone no problem but if someone calls the sermon is cut off and I have to restart it like it is streaming. Is it possible to download a sermon to the phone so I don't have to have internet connection to listen? Can it be saved actually on the phone rather than play through the site?

Did you get a cord with your phone so you can plug it into your computer instead of an outlet?

You should be able to drag and drop sermons onto hard drive of your phone; but I do not have a smart phone; I have a phone with a 1 gig memory drive that I drag and drop music to (ex: ringtones that I make).

I'm sorry, I do not know what to do about calls interrupting a sermon, I've not had that happen to my razr phone. Maybe my suggestion is out of date!! If so, I'm sorry!

God bless,
Lisa

Yes you can download the sermons directly from your phone. Just press and hold the link and a box will pop up with some options. Press save link and it will download the sermon. Once it's downloaded when someone calls you it will pause the sermon and you can start where you left off when the call is over.

But make sure you know your what your data plan is so you don't get extra charges for going over what your plan allows.

You can also download sermons onto your computer and just move them to your phone. As Lysa said the cable from the charger can be used to plug your phone into a USB port on your computer.

Thanks for y'all's help! HISslave what you said worked, but now another question lol. The sermons are titled unknown artist, is it possible for me to go in and manually title the sermon?
