Just wondering what you guys think about women preachers as I am a young Christian and I've heard some some guys talking about the subject just want to know what bible says about it.

i heard that women should not preach or teach in church
And what do you think about that in relation to what Scripture says?

You must forgive my lack of a direct response, but on this forum many times people will show up and say something along similar lines, asking questions of what the Bible says on an issue, asking others to give them advice. However, they quickly turn the tables and then reveal that they're actually not interested in learning at all, as they're more interested in teaching something that they already believe on the subject.
Which is why I ask, what do you think so far of what you've heard and read?
im not out to trick enyone i just heard some guys from church speaking to a women in a christian book shop and she was a minister. They were saying something about women learning in silence in church i think it was in 2timothy just wondering if women should be ministers or not acording to the bible
The Bible says that women can teach other women, but leadership has always been male. When Paul gave instructions on leadership in 1 Timothy he always used a male example. That's not a very politically correct idea, but the Bible says what it says.
